1. Will I be charged sales tax on an online order?

All sales made within the state of Florida will be charged 7% sales tax. Sales made outside of Florida will not be charged tax. If you are with a tax exempt organization, please contact us at 1-850-297-1931 or email with your Tax ID number; a fax, scanned or mailed copy of your tax certificate may be required.

2. What happens if an item I ordered is out of stock?

If an item is currently out of stock, we will send you an e-mail and/or call the number you have provided us as soon as possible with the approximate date the item will be shipped to you. If at that time you wish to cancel your order of that item, please let us know by phone or e-mail. If you do not cancel the order, that item will be shipped when it returns to stock. You will only be charged the original shipping fee for the initial order.

4. Does the Army Surplus Store ship to APO addresses?

5. Will the Army Surplus Store ship items such as knives, machetes, pepper spray or stun guns?

The Army Surplus Store will ship these items; however, it is incumbent upon the purchaser to be familiar with the laws in their area concerning the possession of such items. The Army Surplus Store assumes no responsibility for any legal ramifications occurring due to the possession of such items.  When selecting a shipping method, please be aware that Pepper Spray can only ship via ground services and not by air. 

6. What should I do if I need to change or cancel my order?

7. Should I worry about the security of my personal information?

Absolutely not.  We are Verisign Secured using the latest tools available for your protection.

8. What if I can’t find the item I’m looking for?

9. Does the Army Surplus Store have retail stores? Where are they located?

10. Are there items in your retail stores that aren’t available online?

Yes. Items available on the website only represent some of our best-selling items. There are thousands of items in our retail stores not found on our website. So please do not hesitate to contact us and inquire. Since we’ve been in business for over 30 years, we have had plenty of time to accumulate a number of interesting and hard-to-find merchandise.
